Vintage Talking PJ Barbie Doll Mattel 1969 Hong Kong. AS-IS condition. Barbie’s best friend from the mod era, PJ has seen some tough times. She’s missing her sunglasses, beads, eyelashes, some hair plugs, her dress has some seam rips, and her knees do not bend. Her body has marks and residue, her neck has a light crack where she was opened to repair. Her joints are super tight, especially arms. I’ve repaired her to talk, but the mechanism is very wonky. You have to pull until the device catches, and then she quickly warbles through a phrase unless you control the speed the string returns into her body. It’s doable, but it’s not easy.
